The Casanuova di Nittardi is the Chianti Classico of this winery. On the nose you mainly have ripe red fruit, a hint of vanilla, but also flowers and a tad of mineral. In the mouth a plump, round attack, lots of fine acidity and soft, yet well-present tannins for a very enjoyable, balanced wine.
This wine is all about art. Every year a different famous artist designs the label and look of the bottle. Artists such as Yoko Ono, Karl Otto Götz and Dario Fo have already designed the label.
