Nifo Sarrapochiello - Pontius 2018

The Aglianico, sometimes called the Nebbiolo of the South, is completely at home in Campania and this Aglianico del Taburno is dark colored, smells of cassis, licorice and Mediterranean herbs and tastes concentrated with ripe tannins and a soft pepper in the background.

This is a bottle that sums up the Aglianico and the territory it comes from: power, intensity of sensations, powerful tannins and a fine acidity. The Pontius has been aged in wood for 12 months.

Can be combined with a multitude of dishes such as pheasant, veal, pork, pasta with meat sauce, grilled & roasted red meat, beef, carpaccio & tartare of red meat, stews as well as cheeses!
