A Chianti Classico does not have to come from the Chianti Classico region to be good. Badiola is made on the higher vineyards of the Castello di Fonterutoli winery and therefore uniquely combines the freshness and elegance of Sangiovese with the soft structure of Merlot, to which a refined touch is given by Petit Verdot. The bouquet smells intensely of ripe fruit and flowers and has a mineral hint with juicy tannins.
This is an everyday Super tuscan, which can really be drunk anytime! Be sure to combine it with pasta with meat, pizza or slow-cooked meat such as pulled pork.
