Belguardo - Tirrenico 2019

This Super Tuscan got its name from the Etruscan king “Thyrennus” who led his people to the coast of Tuscany. The vineyards, in southern Tuscany, face the sea and are therefore influenced by the fresh sea breeze. This means that this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot has a full and intense, yet fresh taste.

Alicante, perhaps previously unknown, is an indigenous grape that adds both aromas and spices to the wine. It goes perfectly with stews or Mediterranean vegetables.
