Nectar Dei is Nittardi's flagship wine. This Super Tuscan, made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, offers aromas of ripe dark fruit, vanilla, and tobacco combined with white pepper.

In a letter exchange between Pope Julius II and Michelangelo, the Pope described Nittardi's wine as "Nectar Dei" or, translated, "the Nectar of God". This name is still used for the wine, as is the tradition of presenting the first bottles of the season to the current Pope.
